CUSTOM SEAT INSTALLATION IN PROMASTER
I created Promaster custom seat installation with the goal of offering readers learning from my experience. Read on and I hope it saves you lots of time and brain damage-frustration!
This operation was performed on a 2021 Promaster 2500 chassis that had been upfitted by Winnebago as the Solis model. The factory seats were hard and had no add ons and only had a manual seat back adjustment. The factory seats allowed full rotation to face rearward.
The seats I installed were DiscountVan seats with heat, electric seat back adjustment, and lumbar adjustment. The seats had the upgraded foam and arm rests. Pictures found elsewhere
The shipment omitted the “H” bracket that is necessary to mount it on on the rotating seat pedestal and to mount the seat belt receiver. and the seller had to send it later.
